This historic three-bedroom apartment, located in the heart of Lisbon’s emerging Anjos district, was carefully reworked to restore its distinctive original details while introducing contemporary upgrades. Neglected and abandoned by previous contractors, the renovation centered around optimising the layout, repairing substandard work, and salvaging original architectural features.

LandingPad worked closely with the owner, artist Evy Jokhova, and architect Fabiana Paluszny to integrate bespoke details into the space. Custom bathroom tiles designed by the artist were installed, and the corridor’s trompe-l’œil walls were meticulously restored, preserving the building’s historic character while reflecting the client’s artistic vision.
Every upgrade was carefully considered to maintain aesthetic integrity. Original flooring, moldings, and fixtures were retained wherever possible, while new elements were introduced to reflect modern standards without compromising the apartment’s classical identity.
