This partner development entailed a complete rebuild, including excavation for a new basement level, creation of underground parking, and the addition of a full-floor penthouse. Interior layouts were reimagined to maximise space, natural light, and functionality, and the garden was redesigned around a distinctive pink terrazzo pool, introducing private and shared outdoor amenities.

Throughout the redesign, heritage details were meticulously restored using multilayer paint and stain techniques, and traditional palace proportions were retained. Construction posed significant challenges, including building on fragmented Lioz bedrock, which required precision diamond-chain cutting and careful engineering, along with a complex licensing process.

Today, Palácio Lusíadas stands as a landmark of design-led residential development in central Oeiras: a project where historical character, modern luxury, and thoughtful spatial planning converge.
