Working at the very edge of the Atlantic presented unique challenges: extreme exposure to salt, wind, and humidity demanded insulation, breathable materials, underfloor heating, and robust finishes throughout. Construction access was limited by the cliffside location, and strict footprint restrictions required every adjustment to be precise and efficient.

Despite these constraints, interiors were fully reimagined with open floor plans, ceilings raised to five metres in key areas, and new kitchens and bathrooms. Roof openings and terraces maximize natural light and blur the line between indoors and out. Micro-cement floors, muted finishes, and thoughtful spatial planning give the casitas a Scandinavian-inspired appeal that complements the rugged coastline. Outside, the 800 m² cliff-top terrace was transformed from a hard, utilitarian surface into a lush, inhabitable outdoor space through landscaping and planting.
