A renovation and expansion of an existing café space in Lapa, Lisbon, designed by Atelier Hiromi and built by LandingPad. The project extended the original footprint and refurbished the interior throughout, with targeted interventions to adapt the space for full café operations.

The client’s objective was to create a welcoming neighbourhood café – a comfortable gathering place where people could relax, meet friends, and spend time. Warm materials and a layout organised around social interaction gave the space a genuine sense of warmth and belonging, rooted in the fabric of Lapa.

Our works included new electrical installations, reinforcement of existing walls, microcement floors and walls, and new service counter and fittings throughout.
